Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses focused acoustic sound waves to stimulate healing in damaged soft tissue, tendons, and muscles.
This treatment is ideal for anyone dealing with chronic pain or stubborn soft tissue injuries. Common conditions we treat include plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, shoulder tendinitis, and other repetitive strain injuries.
Each shockwave therapy session typically lasts 15–20 minutes, with most patients requiring 3–6 sessions spaced about a week apart for lasting results. You may feel mild discomfort or a pulsing sensation during treatment, but there's no downtime you can return to your normal activities right away.
Many patients notice reduced pain and improved mobility within just a few sessions, making it one of the most efficient paths to recovery we offer at UP Rehab.
