JENNA DIDONATO
Raised in Ancaster, Jenna is a life-long resident of the Hamilton area. In 2019 she completed her Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at McMaster University. At McMaster, Jenna was a Strength & Conditioning Coach to various varsity teams and made return to play protocols for injured varsity athletes during her fourth year Kinesiology placement. This is where she developed her passion for treating sports related injuries and providing movement-based therapy.
Jenna completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at D’Youville University and continued to refine her skills in movement & exercise rehabilitation with Division 2 varsity athletes, all while completing her doctorate course work. In practise, Jenna employs a variety of manual therapy skills such as Active Release Technique (ART), medical contemporary acupuncture, joint adjustments & mobilizations, atheletic taping, and exercise. She is passionate about treating the person as a whole by identifying dysfunctional movements in the kinetic chain to treat pain with movement disorders.
In her spare time, you will find Jenna in the gym lifting weights, or in the Dundas Valley Conservation Area hiking with her dog or mountain biking. During the winter Jenna is a U14 race coach at the Holimont ski resort in Ellicottville, N.Y. and occasionally she has been known to sneak off to Whistler to get in some out-of-bounds turns.
